Farfisa FR-40 Combo Amplifier

Updated: Thanks to the nice comments, this is an FR-40, not a TR-60 like I originally thought.

Check out this super sexy organ amplifier from the Farfisa Company. The mod styling and colors make this amp really like no other. Great for any organ or guitar, this amp has 2 – 12″ Speakers, Reverb, Tremolo, and enough eq to make any sound sculpting Farfisa boy or girl very happy!

Also check out this clip of some random dude on youtube bust out some blues guitar through this amp.

  • Hello

I have founfd a farfisa amp in a music shop its old and the material over the speakers is very badly worn but it looks similar to the ones on videos although the one I saw seems bigger and you can hardly pick it up off the floor almost and the speakers are on the lower half or bottom of the box and they are bigger than the ones in the pictures I’ve seen. It has a organ input so my question is, could this be a organ amp or is it a guitar amp? The sound is pretty muddled and not sure it its valve, by the weight it seems that way. It has a built in tremolo and when you switch it on the sound comes out about two seconds later so not sure about valve or solid state status.
    Anyone know about this model?

  • Hi,
an old women wanted to take her amp away. She played accordeon, when she was younger. A small notice in a newspaper in Bremen, Germany: Sennheiser microphone for 20,00 € and Farfisa FR-40 to comp. Both parts are working. It´s so great.

  • Farfisa Amps ….
If you have one of these, change ALL capacitors quickly because its such a mess when they blow up in the power supply (and they all start to do that !!!) … it takes hours to clean that !!!!!!!

  • Hi. I picked one of these Farfisa FTR60 amplifier many years ago And It Still Works.
