Brooklyn Soul in Perth Australia

Check out this great performance by Charles Bradley backed up by The Menahan Street Band at The Leedervile Hotel in Perth, Australia. “Just carve yourselves a corner of the floor to set up boys, the kids will dig it.” Hells yeah they will. I am so stealing that to the sky, drop to the knees move from you Charlie! I’m pretty sure that I spy the Budos Band Farfisa in the background.

The Greatest Farfisa Compact Combo Demo Of All Time!

Check out Paul’s sexy new Farfisa and his sensitive man music. Don’t worry, he also delves into the darker side with what he calls increasingly irritating sounds, although they sound better and better to me, so I don’t know what to say about that!

Seriously though, this is one hell of a great video if you didn’t get that from the title. There is like math and and science and history and stuff, and super extra awesome bonus points for including the cat!

Farfisa Transicord Jam by DottyHarry

I always wondered if you could play a Farfisa Accordian like an organ. It seems like you can from this dark and freaky movie from DottyHarry. OK, now I need to seriously start looking at those when the pop up on craigslist. I bet they weight as much as a mini compact though!

Black Angels on Tour with a Farfisa Compact Duo

Currently one of my favorite bands, The Black Angels, came through town and I had the pleasure of seeing them for the second time. Not only did they have a Farfisa Compact Duo on stage, but their utility man had a little Rheem organ also. You have got to love the dueling combo organs on stage!

Next time, please headline, I want to see you play for hours, not open up for bands that can not follow your incredible performances!

The Incredible Stacks, Holland’s Grooviest Band

Oh you must check out this fantastic performance by The Incredible Stacks from Leiden, Holland with their super groovy organ. What is that magic organ he is playing?

“Screen Door / Screen Door Echoes” by The Incredible Stacks. Garage Rock/Garage Funk improvisation withdrums, bass and organ recorded at their studio in Leiden (Holland).

Farfisa CER-60 Melodic Rhythmer Vintage Drum Machine

Check out this stellar old Farfisa Drum Machine video demo from your wonderful German friends at AnalogAudio1. Another one that I have never heard of. I bet this one never made it over to the states.

Playing around the Farfisa “Melodic Rhythmer” CER-60. It’s a very rare analogue drumbox from the seventies. Also known as “GOYA Melodic Rhythmer”. There are CANCEL tabs for several sounds: CYMBAL, CLAVES, COWBELL, BASSDRUM. With these tabs you can mute them.
This box has a funny design, it looks like a guitar amp. There is no speaker inside. It’s also perfect for your next prank with a guitar player 😉
